Fishing

Gym Night


sch was usual today with tons of un-understanding.. but whatever.. i will try to figure it out soon..


on my way back home, the long journey set my mind working.. i have this analogy about fishing.. life is about fishing.. is how you undergo ur daily routine that leads to how much fish (wealth) that you can obtain..


there are a lot of types of different fisherman, juz like how different different people are.. some people wake up early to toss the net into the sea.. some spent tons of effort just to make nets with smaller weaves.. some are satisfied with minimum amount of fishes, while others fish for whales..


as for myself, i believe im already late in tossing my net.. there are some people who toss the net early in the morning.. of course, these are the people with higher chance to catch bigger/ more amount of fishes.. since in the morning there are lesser competitors.. i'm already the late comer.. i woke up too late... i wasted so much of my time in the past, tossing the net in the late afternoon normally doesnt have any yield.. but.. of course, i still have to go on with life.. im already lagging behind by so much..


of course there are other types of fishermen, some put in extra effort to weave stronger and neater nets.. this means that they put in more than 100% effort in what-ever they do.. of course, they normally do have higher gains/ returns.. but due to the BlackJack theory.. they DO NOT definitely gain more than those with lousier nets.. this is due to the fact that the hardwork u put into weaving a better net would just increase the probability of gaining more fishes.. but it DOES NOT assures u a better gain..


but, im not trying to tell anyone that hardwork is not necessary for success.. im just trying to say that hardwork DOES NOT DEFINITELY lead to what you want.. it just increases the probability.. however, if you do not put in any effort, you DECREASE the probability to reach what you want.. i realise that this world is revolving around probabilities.. there is no definition or standard way.. its just luck.. how much luck you have depends on what you do..


in the fishing example, having a better net DOES NOT mean that fishes will go in.. for e.g. there might be a killer whale around and no fishes will roam around.. althought you have a better and nicher net, it does not mean you will have more rewards compared to another fisherman who has normal net in his 'whale-free' zone..


life is unfair.. live with it.. sometimes, you have to accept thing as they are.. just like Cost accounting.. i really dont see how the small small cute cute teacher can argue everything to his way.. i suppose i just have to get in same frequency with him.. thats my job..
